Sedan Chair 轿子
The sedan chair can be regarded as the unique vehicle of China. It mainly has the virtue of lifting with shoulders and hands.
As for its kind, the sedan chair can be classified into three types:
Sedan chair for officials 官轿, the civilian 民轿, weddings 婚轿.
According to purposes, the sedan chair has two types: one is for mountain roads, the other for flat roads. As far as the materials were concerned, there are three kinds, i.e. bamboo, wood and rattan藤.
